Mira was squabbling with the quartermaster over some rocker components, while the Handmaiden watched younger Mandalorians training - the scoundrel could read her opinions from her face without her even saying a word. And now that they had a plan of attack, the first rays of the sun caressed the pilot’s face - but it still failed to truly reassure him.Ītton looked at the team he was about to lead into the jungle. Ever since the Ebon Hawk landed, and the Exile along with Mandalore hurriedly took the team to the Mandalorian camp, it rained so hard, it almost felt like the moon felt the despair of the people on Onderon, and decided to harass the inhabitants of Dxun into helping. It was probably the first time that Atton has seen the sun on Dxun. When One Stops The Kiss To Whisper “I’m Sorry, Are You Sure You-” And They Answer By Kissing Them More yeah it doesn’t go quite like that but whatever Thank you, Sierra 💖 Sorry, this took me so long, this thing kinda had a curse on it lmaoĦ7. like not to love atton on main and say he’s a well-designed experience, but he’s a well-designed i know exposition is just his job as an npc, but it’s about the way that it’s often directed towards the exile rather than a general audience, and about the familiarity folded into the option to select “atton told me about that” in one of kreia’s conversationsĪnd when it’s combined with him bristling at the exile’s prying questions, turning accusations back onto them, and being less of a pushover than most video game companions are, it just adds up to make him and his relationship with the exile feel more… real. he comments on the exile’s alignment shifts not to say it’s good or bad, but to bring up its good or bad effects on them. and this is so, so small, but he includes explanations for the exile’s benefit, knowing that they’ve been away for a while and they might need it. He’s not interested in preserving the exile for what they are. Like: he insists on engaging with the exile as equals.

I keep thinking abt when atton comments on the exile’s glow and sense of peace, like when he says “it’s good to see”/“it’s inspiring almost” he just sounds so genuinely glad to see the exile flourishing that it’s one of my favorite conversations to walk intoĪnd this is gonna sound so biased but i guess what i like about it isn’t just that he comments on all these milestones, but that he’s one of the few to treat the exile not as a figure but as a person, and sometimes it feels like he’s the one who cares the most about the exile as a person, too
